Electrical Underwriters of NY, LLC is always looking for qualified full or part time inspectors.
The job requires knowledge of the National Electrical Code and a minimum of 5 years field experience.
Candidate must be assertive and be willing to develop new areas.
Must have IAEI certifications as an electrical inspector
(or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire and maintain license)
on 1 & 2 Family, Plan Review and General.
Duties include inspection of electrical installations in all phases of construction,
alterations and repair for adherence to original plans, specifications, safety regulations and building codes.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation required.
